Yes,one of the very first Beta max tapes that I bought. I had found the catalog before buying any tapes and this was my first.I have always been an otk fan and this one just delivered.thanks for sharing and enjoy your day Jim
What I especially like in this photo is that you can just see the faintest of panty lines on Debbie's dress. Which is quite ironic really, because if I'm not mistaken, this entire silent video was given on the bare bottom. Still, it is a delightful photo.
I think Debbie is studying the carpet weave, Rich, by way of distraction from her seat of learning; which yes, will soon be denuded & exposed in all its sensitive, lily white opalescence for mom's dreaded hairbrush (I sure remember that experience in the 1960s, already!!)
Oh my! I found this "Debbie & her mom series" from Nu-West beyond mesmerizing & compelling in 1979/80s. Coupled with, of course, the corresponding silent films, stills & magazines from Janus & Roue in the late 1970s. The gateway to a genre, if you will, Rich.
As a southern belle, I wore pretty canary yellow dresses exactly like this a bunch in the 1960s & 70s. Y'all girls did. It was the trendy colour along with that iconic pastel blue (of Pan Am girls iconography) and bubblegum pink. That hairbrush was "mommy's best friend". And Debbie's nemesis. Brenda xx
